Zoho Desk is a low-cost, full-featured help desk with a free plan for 3 users, and it is hard to beat on price if your team already lives in the Zoho suite. It is still a per-agent help desk: the work of answering stays with your agents unless you step up to the higher editions. Bund AI is the alternative for teams that want an AI agent to answer and complete requests, with seats included in one flat price.

Zoho Desk's paid plans (Express, Standard, Professional and Enterprise) are priced per agent per month, billed annually on its pricing page. Every extra agent is another line on the bill.
Zoho's pricing page lists its Zia AI on the Professional edition and above. On the entry Express edition the AI agents are bring-your-own-key. Whether that works for you depends on how much AI you want out of the box.
Zoho Desk is a full ticketing system with lots of configuration. If you mainly want customers' questions answered and routine requests completed without tickets, that is more system than the job needs.

Bund AI
The Zoho Desk competitors teams most often shortlist, and who each one suits. Full disclosure: we make Bund AI, so it's first. The rest are the tools that come up most in buyers' shortlists and AI answers.
AI agent for web chat and email that answers from your own content and takes the action: refunds, order changes, tracking and bookings. Hands off to your team with context. Flat monthly plans with seats included.
Per-agent help desk with SLAs and routing, usually the closest like-for-like.
Simple email-first help desk with a free plan for small teams.
Enterprise help desk, deep and multi-channel, priced per agent.
Messenger-first platform with the Fin AI agent, billed per outcome.
The agent answers the request from your own content, takes the action behind it, and leaves your team a full history if a person needs to step in.

Bund AI isn't the better choice for every case. Here's when we'd tell you not to switch:
Start on the Basic plan for $0.99 a month, or book a demo to see the agent on your own conversations first.
