Flat pricing · No per-agent cost

A Salesforce Service Cloud alternative for teams that outgrew nothing

Salesforce Service Cloud is an enterprise service platform: cases, omnichannel routing, contact center, AI agents and deep CRM integration, priced per user per month. Most small and mid-size teams looking for an alternative want one thing: customers answered quickly, without a licensing model, an implementation project and an admin. Bund AI is that narrower tool for web chat and email, at a flat monthly price.

Why switch at all

What teams run into with Salesforce Service Cloud

01

Per-user licensing, priced by edition

Service Cloud is priced per user per month, with editions from Starter Suite at $25 up to Max at $550 on Salesforce's pricing page, most billed annually. Cost scales with headcount and with the edition your features sit in.

02

A platform to implement

Service Cloud is meant to be configured around your processes, often by an admin or a partner. That is the right call at enterprise scale and a lot of overhead for a team that wants answers sent.

03

AI is priced separately and not itemized on the page

Salesforce's page references Flex Credits for its agents, with additional credits available for purchase, but did not state a per-conversation rate when we checked. Budgeting for AI means asking sales.

Best Salesforce Service Cloud alternatives & competitors

The Salesforce Service Cloud competitors teams most often shortlist, and who each one suits. Full disclosure: we make Bund AI, so it's first. The rest are the tools that come up most in buyers' shortlists and AI answers.

  2. 02

    Zendesk

Enterprise help desk, deep and multi-channel, priced per agent with AI billed separately.

    Best for:
Larger support teams that want a dedicated help desk instead of a CRM platform.
    Watch out:
    Per-agent seats plus per-resolution AI.
  3. 03

    Freshdesk

Per-agent help desk with SLAs and routing, usually cheaper than enterprise suites.

    Best for:
Teams that want real ticketing at a lower price than Salesforce.
    Watch out:
Freddy AI is metered on top of seats.
  4. 04

Messenger-first platform with the Fin AI agent, billed per outcome plus seats.

    Best for:
SaaS teams that want in-app messaging and AI.

    Best for:
Budget-conscious teams, especially if they also use Zoho CRM.

In practice

A resolved conversation, not just an assigned ticket

The agent answers the request from your own content, takes the action behind it, and leaves your team a full history if a person needs to step in.

A resolved conversation in the Bund AI dashboard, with the transcript, the actions taken, and an AI summary.
Honestly

When you should stay with Salesforce Service Cloud

Bund AI isn't the better choice for every case. Here's when we'd tell you not to switch:

You already run Salesforce as your CRM and want service in the same system.
You need a contact center with voice, or enterprise routing and case management.
You need advanced security, data and compliance controls tied to the Salesforce platform.
You have a Salesforce admin or partner and a procurement process already in place.
FAQ

Questions people ask

How much does Salesforce Service Cloud cost?
Checked on Salesforce's Service pricing page in October 2026, per user per month in USD: Starter Suite $25 (monthly or annual billing), Pro Suite $100 (annual contract), Core $195, Advanced $395 and Max $550, billed annually. The page references Flex Credits for Agentforce agents, with extra credits available for purchase, but it did not state per-conversation rates. Negotiated discounts and add-ons are not shown, so ask Salesforce for a quote.
Worked example: 3 support users
Three users at list price: Starter Suite is 3 × $25 = $75 a month, Pro Suite 3 × $100 = $300, and Core 3 × $195 = $585. These are licenses only, before any AI credits, implementation or admin time. Bund AI's Starter plan is $49 a month for 3 team seats and 1,000 AI replies with no per-user license. Starter Suite is a general CRM suite rather than a dedicated AI support agent, so the two are not like for like.
Is Bund AI a replacement for Service Cloud?
Only for a narrow slice: answering and resolving customer questions on web chat and email. It has no CRM, no case-management depth, no voice, SMS or social channels. If you need a full service platform, or your data already lives in Salesforce, stay there.
What counts as an AI reply on Bund AI's plans?
Every message the agent sends a customer, on web chat or email, counts once. Messages your team sends don't count. A conversation often takes two or three AI replies, so 1,000 replies covers a few hundred AI-handled conversations. Plans are billed per calendar month, and you can change plans from your dashboard as volume changes.
Is there a contract, and how do I cancel?
No long contract. Billing runs through Stripe, and you cancel from your dashboard at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you've paid for.
Can I bring my existing data over?
Yes. You import your knowledge as help articles, documents, or PDFs, and export existing tickets from your current provider to import into Bund AI. Nothing is stored in a proprietary format that makes a future switch harder.
What happens to my data?
Bund AI runs on our infrastructure, and conversation history and customer data live in your account there. For AI answers, that request is sent to a language model provider under contract; you can export your data at any time.
